Where do we stand?

Europe vs UK

In 2004 less than 0.5% of Britain's electricity came from wind. Germany had 17 times the UK capacity. In the same year, Spain installed 8 times as much new wind capacity as the UK and has doubled its renewable energy target to 15% by 2010 (UK target is 10%). Denmark already generates 20% of it's electricity from wind...
