You can also download our Scoping Request. This is supported by a report detailing what issues we are proposing to assess as part of our Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the windfarm. It requests an opinion from the local planning authority as to whether the proposed scope of our EIA is appropriate i.e. are the surveys and assessments that we are planning to carrying out right for the local area etc.

Community Engagement

We would like to engage in discussion at Parish levels to explore potential community benefits and concerns. Apart from the opportunities for jobs during construction, other ideas which have been put forward to us at this stage include:

• Parish street lighting
• Community bus sponsorship
• Park landscaping
• Village play areas
• Primary school teacher sponsorship in environmental science

Issues that we understand will be of concern to objectors, which we will need to address include:

• Noise
• Access
• Landscape visual effects
